I love joining up with the WIP Wednesday. It makes me try and get stuff done so I can post about it. Being winter here, it's had to get into a (warm)groove. Since the boys have gone back to school after the holidays I have not felt like sewing. I have to quilt because I have customers, but I wouldn't if I didn't have to.
So today I made an effort. I had some swap blocks that are due now so I got stuck into it. I think it's because the sun is finally out. I threw the house open, hung the sofa quilts on the line in the sun and got some sewing done.
One swap block done
Another cut ready to go
Last week I found the Farmers Wife Sampler book at a gorgeous store,Calico & Ivy, in Balmain. I couldn't just leave it there. I have this beautiful fat pack of Oasis. Perfect combo. Can't wait to start it.
I am linking up over at Freshly Pieced. Go and check it out
Happy Quilting
